Additional Information: The first chairman of the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology was Graeme Ryan. When he resigned at the end of 1995, Daine Alcorn was appointed to the vacant chair and head of department with John (?) Furness as Deputy Head. A system of rotating the Head of Department position was instituted with Furness returning to the position in 1999 and Alcorn from January 2000, with Tony Goodwin as Deputy Head. With Alcorn's resignation in , Goodwin became head of Department. | |
