Training in children's diseases for University of Melbourne medical undergraduate and postgraduate students was first given at the Hospital for Sick Children, now the Royal Children's Hospital, in 1882. Formal ties were established in 1900 when the hospital's honorary staff appointed Dr William Snowball to represent them on the Faculty of Medicine. |
